Beans Creek School
Beans Creek School was a small, one-room building jointly owned by the Presbyterian Church and The Mitchell County School Board. There were grades one through seven housed here. All the children brought their lunches with milk in a little syrup bucket and cornbread. In 1938, there were 57 children enrolled. A normal nine month school year was taught.
