Wendy Holloway

I started teaching music in 2004, and first came to Gouge in 2008. I also teach music at Deyton Elementary School.  I am a graduate of Appalachian State University with a degree in Elementary Education and certification in Music Education.  I am also certified Orff Levels I, II, and III.  Orff-Schulwerk is an amazing approach to teaching elementary music.  Students sing, play, and move their way to music literacy and appreciation. My mission is to bring out the creative musician in every child, empowering them to succeed musically as well as in other areas of life.
